work, life, stress, pounds, and points

Posted on May 17, 2012May 17, 2012 by GESS

I’ve been overworked and
over-busy for the past few weeks,
without time for one trail run a week,
much less two,
so the pounds and the blood pressure
have been creeping up.
This morning, my doc at Austin Heart (http://austinheart.com)
says “not to worry!”
which is a relief.
Apparently,
losing just a pound a month is a-okay
and certainly better than not losing any
or gaining some.
So she’s adjusted my meds temporarily,
and I’ll keep up my bare minimum
30-min dog walk every morning
until work and life calm down some.
I miss my trail runs
and the great folks at
Tejas Trails (http://www.tejastrails.com/).
I can’t wait to get back to you!
