With who?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cBatman over there.\u201d<br \/>\nNick looked across into the crowded dining room to where Batman and Batgirl stood holding up a wall. Batman was fidgeting with the waistband of his costume. Batgirl, cocked on one leg with her arms crossed, scanned the revelers.<br \/>\nNick couldn&#8217;t identify the alter egos behind the costumes.<br \/>\n\u201cWho is that?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cI&#8217;m not telling,\u201d Nora teased.<br \/>\n\u201cIs it Regan?\u201d<br \/>\nNora smiled over at Batman, but said nothing.<br \/>\n\u201cWell, is it?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cDoes it matter?\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cI guess not.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cGood,\u201d she concluded. \u201cYour turn!\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">*My work from an exercise during &#8220;The 1-Day MFA: Lessons in Voice, Character, and Dialogue with Sara Kocek,&#8221; a workshop designed to condense the most important lessons of an MFA degree into one comprehensive tutorial, put on by the <a title=\"Writers' League of Texas\" href=\"http:\/\/www.writersleague.org\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Writers&#8217; League of Texas<\/a>.
